How to Bypass Your Subconscious Mind
This principle is simple to understand but difficult to put into practice simply because we already have so many negative imprints, beliefs and concepts firmly engraved into your subconscious mind. The challenge is how to remove all these negative imprints and replace them with new, affirming beliefs. Let me share with you what I use to replace negative imprints in my subconscious mind with positive life affirming beliefs and thoughts. 1. Meditation Meditation increases your level of self awareness. With this heightened self awareness, you can note your thoughts with greater clarity and care, thereby stopping negative thoughts from entering your subconscious mind. You become a better gatekeeper of your mind. 2. Affirmations Affirmations are positive phrases or sentences that are life enhancing and truthful. I place lots of positive affirmations all over my house - in my bedroom, bathroom, on the mirror and even next to my toilet seat. The idea is to get these messages into your subconscious mind when you're doing your daily activities, thereby bypassing your conscious mind. One really powerful tool you can use to achieve this aim is a desktop software that actually flashes positive affirmations as you work with your computer. Here's one that can do the job: 3. Subliminal Messages This method is powerful because it bypasses your conscious mind which is often critical of some of the best positive affirmations you'll want for yourself. I play CDs with affirmations implanted into the background of soft music as I work. Here's a software that combines 2 and 3 for maximum effect: 4. Hypnosis This is another method that bypasses your conscious mind. I use this technique sometimes for my patients to help them overcome specific challenges in life. It is best to use all these methods instead of just choosing one or two as the effect is greater and better when you maximize all resources at your disposal. Give them a good try and I can assure you that you'll see some positive change in your life.
